A recreation of lion dance by Lysol-Jones. He does not know much about lion dancing but he wanted to create an image representing the way lion dance depicted in the past with the modern military. We must learn to unite so that we can give lion dance more positive connotations.

A traditional routine of "Snake Impeding the Path" performed by Yogi Tam. This routine was performanced without any previous practice and under the guidance of Mr. William Lee from Hawaii Lion Dance Association. We love the low stances, the traditional martial arts footwork, and an old age puzzle once used by many store owners but now unknown to many. Also, the performer is 40+ and still very active in lion dancing.
A very interesting warmup. A true lion dancer can see the head and tail without it actually being there much like a drummer can hear the drum in his head without sound.

A picture provided by liondoncefreak: "This was taken recently in Kuching, Sarawak (East Malaysia). The area had been experiencing bad flash floods over the past few months. It was unfortunate that so many people had to celebrate their CNY under this conditions. But with lion dancers such as this, the spirit will never die!"
